Registration to attend camp in 2022 begins August 1, 2021 at 9:00AM MDT. To register, you must create an account on our event registration website. This can be done while creating your unit’s registration or by clicking here.
Once an account has been created, you will be able to use it to register individuals to attend camp as well as for the different activities that will be available at camp. You will also be able to view individual Scout progress in merit badge activities at camp. Do not lose your account information.
At the time of registration, 2 fees will be required to be paid to complete the process: A $20 unit registration fee and a $75 non-refundable deposit is required per registrant. Names of registrants are not required at the time of initial registration; these can be added later. Additional registrants can be added after the initial registration. The $20 unit registration can be later applied to an individual to help cover the cost of their registration fee.
Please pay close attention to the dates listed at the top of the table. Any registrant who is registered during a pricing window is guaranteed the specified price. This applies only to that individual and not to the unit as a whole.
This fee is for youth participants, including Venturers, over the age of 18, but not yet 21 years of age. Our camp programs are specifically designed for this age group of Scouts.
Youth participants must be 14 years old before the first day of their camp session, or 13 years old and have completed the 8th grade.
An adult leader is anyone over the age of 18 who is registered with the unit. Our camp has additional programming available specifically for adults in mind. Here are the requirements of an adult leader:
- Must be at least 18 years of age prior to the first day of camp
- Registered adult member with the Boy Scouts of America
- Has completed Youth Protection Training within the past 2 years
All units are always required to have a minimum of 2 adult leaders in camp. These 2 adult leaders must be at least 21 years of age. Any additional adults may by 18 or older.
NOTE: Units are required to provide appropriate adult leadership in order to attend Rocky Mountain High Adventure Base. Scouts will NOT be partnered with another unit if adequate leadership is not provided, and they will not be allowed to participate.

Beginning May 3, 2022, our office staff will call all registered units who have yet to pay a minimum of half of their total camp fees. If needed, we will establish a payment schedule that fits the need of the unit.
If we are not able contact your unit by May 13, 2022 or the unit does not follow their new payment schedule, the troop or crew registration will be dropped. Refunds will be made according to the refund policy listed below.
Refund Policy
This policy applies to all registered to attend Rocky Mountain High Adventure Base in 2022. All refund requests must be submitted through our online portal.
Registration Fees
This policy applies to all registered to attend Rocky Mountain High Adventure Base in 2022. Once an individual’s registration is made, no refunds will be given.
Should an individual choose to not attend camp after completing a registration, their payments (less the $75.00 deposit) may be transferred to another registered individual to pay for registration fees.
Frequently Asked Registration Questions
- We are trying to register for camp and your system requires us to add names yet we haven’t firmed those up. How do we register without names?
- Names are not required to be added at the time of registration. When you begin to receive names, you may begin adding them to the individual registrant slots which will be listed as [EMPTY SLOT].
- We want to save money and register before the price goes up. Do we have to pay for all of camp to keep the discounted price?
- No. All that must be paid to maintain the discounted price is the $75 per person deposit. Once this deposit is paid it locks in the price for that particular registrant.
- The majority of our unit booked before the price went up and now, we have additional people who want to register. Can they receive the discounted pricing the rest of our unit received?
- No. The discounted pricing only applies to registrations that are booked within the appropriate window. Anyone booking outside of that time must pay the current price.
- We are registered to attend the merit badge program at San Isabel Scout Ranch and we have a couple of Scouts who want to participate in Rocky Mountain High Adventure Base. Do we as the unit have to provide adult leadership for these high adventure Scouts?
- RMHAB is run as a separate program from San Isabel Scout Ranch, even though they are located on the same property. Units must provide 2 deep leadership for the Scouts participating the merit badge program and RMHAB. This means that a unit registered in both programs must have a minimum 4 adults attending, and 2 of them must be physically able to participate in high adventure.
