College of Commissioner Science

The purpose of the College of Commissioner Science (CCS) is to provide supplemental training for all functions of commissioner service. It is recognized that commissioners are key to the continued health and growth of the units in the council. This training offers instruction, guidance and detailed training to aid the commissioners in providing outstanding unit service.

Consider Being a CCS Instructor

You will receive credit for each course you instruct toward the completion of your own degree.  Detailed course material and curriculum information is available, check CCS Resources below. Contact the current College Dean to be an Instructor.

Who Can Attend?

The College of Commissioner Science is an annual training event for registered commissioners, but also those who wish to become Commissioners and want to see what it’s all about… we invite you to participate! It is an opportunity to have a continuing education experience in a college environment. It helps the commissioner stay current in policy, techniques and application of commissioner service to units.
 
Each degree has a pre-requisite combination of courses required for completion, as outlined in the Degree Requirements. Degree programs range from:
