The Pathway to the Rockies Council Sponsorship Program provides a financial foundation for young people to build character, learn how to become better citizens, and develop personal fitness. The BSA has helped build future leaders by combining educational activities and lifelong values with fun for over a century. The BSA believes – and, through over 100 years of experience, knows – that helping youth is key to building a more conscientious, responsible, and productive society. When they are involved in Scouting, they do not have as much idle time exploring drugs, alcohol or finding themselves in as many peer-pressure activities.
