Electronic transfer typically is the fastest and most secure way to officially move from unit to unit, and/or to multiple into units.
Please use the following directions:
1. login into: https://my.scouting.org
2. click Menu in the upper left corner
select “My Application”
A list of you and your youth should appear with boxes to “Transfer” or “Multiple” next to each.
4. Click on the box to “Transfer” or “Multiple” for the person you wish.
- For AOL’s moving to a troop – click “Transfer”
- For Scout’s that will be joining a “Crew” – click “Multiple”
- For those working with two or more units – Click “Multiple”
5. Select the unit to “Transfer” or “Multiple” by clicking Unit Type from the Drop Down menu.
Depending on the age of the person, different options will be available. For example a scout who is 14-18 will see Troop, Crew and Ship.
After selecting a unit type, put in a unit number or just click search.
6. Find the Unit in the results and click Select
Please note, we do have some units that have the same numbers in our council. In these cases select carefully.
7. After selecting the unit, you will have one last chance to check the information, and then click “Submit Transfer” to complete a transfer, or “Submit Multiple Registration” to finish multipling.
FINAL STEP – Please contact your unit leaders to let them know that they have an application to accept by logging into my.scouting.org
If it is an adult application, it will need to be accepted by the COR (Charter Organization Representative).
