National Order of the Arrow Conference
NOAC is the premier event offering of the Order of the Arrow.8,000 Arrowmen from all 50 states gather together for a conference full of training cells, activities, and a multitude of brotherhood opportunities with Order of the Arrow members from across the country.
The reason for its growing popularity can be attributed to the fact that it is planned and carried out by youth Order of the Arrow members. Youth involvement ensures that the conference program will be exciting, relevant, and with non-stop fun!
Participants will return home with:
- A deeper understanding of the Scout Oath, Scout Law, Order of the Arrow Obligation, and what it means to “live” these words in one’s daily life.
- A renewed spirit, pride, and enthusiasm for Scouting and the Order of the Arrow.
- Ideas that can be used to better serve Scouting at the unit, district, and council levels.
- New programs, knowledge, and skills to improve chapter and lodge operations.
- Enhanced leadership skills and a better understanding of how to carry out the work of the lodge.
- New friendships with fellow Arrowmen from throughout the nation
- Memories to last a lifetime.
Fun and exciting activities include the following: Ceremony competitions; patch trading; campus-wide games; meeting National officers; lodge, section, and regional festivals; and theme shows. Training sessions focus on OA Lodge operations, leadership, high adventure, and Native American traditions and culture.
This is the first time the conference has been held at UC and 36 years since the last time the conference was in the western US.
Conference fees include the following: Travel to and from the event, housing, food (except for travel), and conference program materials.
Registration for this event is open, with $100 deposit. We are encouraging members to signup to attend early and start saving now so take full advantage of discounts. This price is as follows:
- Early Registration – $625 due by December 1, 2023
- Regular Registration – $675 due by June 1, 2024
- Travel and contingent items $250 – Estimated
