Welcome to Internet Charter Renewal.

Rechartering is the annual process of removing any members and volunteers from your unit roster and adding any that may have been missed throughout the year. You should also use this opportunity to ensure that contact information (address, phone, email) is all up to date for each of your members.

To access internet rechartering you must be a Unit Key 3 member (Charter Org Rep, Committee Chair, or Unit Leader*) or Key 3 delegate, to assign a unit Key 3 Delegate follow the instructions HERE.

You will log into internet advancement using your my.scouting credentials.

In order to process all unit charters in a timely fashion as well as ensure we have sufficient funding for Council Activity Fee scholarships, we ask that your unit completes the online portion of the recharter by December 8th, 2023 including online signatures and approvals.

Please note that while you will be given an opportunity to pay for your recharter online using a credit card, you will be charged a processing fee.  We suggest you pay via check to the council office.  

* – Unit Leader refers to:  Cubmaster, Scoutmaster, Venturing Advisor, Sea Scout Skipper, Exploring Advisor

As part of the rechartering cycle all adult leaders MUST have Youth Protection Training that remains current for the duration of the charter (through 12-31-24).  This means that any leader that has a YPT expiration date PRIOR to 1-1-25 MUST renew their Youth Protection Training prior to the recharter being processed.
